Visual perception of surface properties through direct manipulation
This project consists of designing a series of psychophysical experiments to understand human perception of materials. We designed a web based application and ask users to run the application on theirs iPads. We use tangible display system and device orientation data to understand user's interaction with the test object to perceive defects/dents in a material. We have submitted our findings for VSS-21.
